  1. Omg it's so relatable for me, I'm 12 and in 7th but in 6th grade I went to a Mexican restaurant and was eating stale nachos and the steak was pretty big, then the steak got stuck halfway down my throat, I was so scared and tried to swallow it but couldn't, my dad ended up pulling it out the steak out of my throat, I'll never forget that, that happened.😬

  2. I’m pretty sure I have This and now I’m freaking out cuz I choked in 6th grade and Thai stuff happens all the time

  3. I have the same swallowing problem and I have had that same procedure done twice but it hasn't helped…don't know what else to do 🤷‍♀️

  6. I know I fanatic relate but I’ve had a fear ever since I was 10 because I was home alone eating my lunch and i started choking and I was in tears because I didn’t know what to do but luckily my Dad pulled up in the driveway and saved my life. I am so great full my Dad turned up because I wouldn’t of been alive today

  7. I was diagnosed with a condtion called Achalasia when I was 19😣it's more progressive then esophagitis I have had over 5 or more surgeries for it and people think I'm balemic because I have to run to the bathroom and throw up all the time and it's so embarrassing and yes there is no cure I cry all the time because I hate the feeling of eyes on me at a restaurant and yes its true it's hereditary my father has it as well but not as progressive saddest thing is having to have a feeding tube and crying around a back pack with nutrition in it ☹️😢

  8. Did you swallow really loudly? I have the same symptoms but, I’m always getting picked on by friends and family because when I swallow, it’s very loud. Did you have that symptom? Very loud swallowing?

  9. Is this a boy or girl ?

  11. Have a similar disorder called achalasia. I've suffered with it since I was about 6. I had a surgery for it, but it did not work. But I suffer daily with it. I'm sorry you have to deal with this.

  12. Ive been living with this condition gor ever and it really sucks. Ive never really told anyone maybe except my mom so its really astonishing to see how many other people have it other than myself.

  13. why does waking up from anesthesia make us so hungry always? the FIRST thing i said when i woke up from it as a child was "TAKE ME TO CAPTAIN D'S" (that was my fancy in the 2002 lol)

  14. Me and my best friend met in 9th grade . We bonded over both being born with cataracts which left is blind in opposite eyes . We say I watch her right she watches my left ❤️

  15. It’s so crazy to hear about someone as famous as you with this issue. I’ve had EOE since i was three! It’s def super scary when it feels like food isn’t going to go down all the way. I’ve had to have my esophagus stretched several times. I’ve never known anyone else with this issue, since it’s fairly rare. So cool to hear you talk about it!

  16. It’s really great that you did a video about this.. there are probably a lot of people out there that have this condition but have no idea and this has likely given them some insight into their symptoms. Hats off to both of you for being so candid and vulnerable.

  17. OMG Jeffree…. :'( i came here from your burger king video and I had NO IDEA you had this issue. I suffer from this exact issue — since 1st grade, and it's debilitating. Thank you for bringing light to this. Knowing it's a real thing, when people accused me of having an eating disorder, or lying. This is so real. I've been wanting to tattoo the word "chew" on my finger in white ink so it can remind me because sometimes I do forget, and the choking episodes are insane. Thank you for sharing this. It gives me hope. I need this surgery.

  18. I developed this after my 4th stomach surgery and had this dilation done 4x since dec 18'. You cant explain the feeling of it as the food getting stuck and choking but the only decent thing is that I throw up alot so I throw it up right away but when I'm irritated and I puke until I get the procedure. I understand this 100%

  19. Honestly you saying that we might think it’s nothing makes no sense! That sounds horrible and so scary! Glad you guys are feeling better!

  20. I think you did great, scary for you but entertaining for us. I do think you should follow the doc's advise and go back to having it fully opened so you can enjoy your food even more without fear. Well done you….:-)

  21. Well…My brother has asma and my sister had asma…But i have cancer…..😢So..I wanted too share it too all of u…..Love u Jeffre!💖U make me believe in myself!☺Ur the best!

  24. I almost choked to death ones to… I was sick, very sick.. and one moment i just couldn't breath anymore.. I tried to talk or even scream.. but i couldn't.. eventually i could breath again.. but i almost died

  25. OMG I had this happen to me with steak!! Just an IV of something made it come up thank God. My mom has had these symptoms for over a decade. Now I might know what it is. I also chew twice as slow as those around me. I also have fucked up teeth. It is my dream someday to have my whole mouth done like yours. Stunning and beautiful, like Rrrything about You! Here from Wisconsin. Love You Jeffree!!

  26. Lol I remember the time I woke up lol after the same procedure ,man I was loopy AF .. but maybe I’m addicted to it lol but idc bout getting my body under again (just the tripping and looping around part )

okay so. For those who don’t understand the mechanics of this, eosinophils are a type of white blood cell that makes up about 3-9% of your WBCs. They are involved in causing allergic reactions and inflammation. This can be a good thing, when your immune system genuinely does need to respond to a foreign threat. However, they can overreact to unnecessary things, causing simple allergies like pollen and cat hair. But if they gather in one area, they could cause swelling/inflammation such as in Jeffree’s esophagus

  28. Hey jeffrie I'm goin thru the same thing and have an up coming Dr app cuase my food gets stuck and I'm really scared how did you go thru the fear really get thru it I love ya THE FOY CLAN ❣️❣️❣️❣️

  29. I have a similar issue, but it is the opening of the stomach to the small bowel. I have had it stretched twice and been in the hospital several times because I couldn’t keep anything down. I woke up once in the middle of my procedure and watched the screen until they realized I was awake. I mostly eat soft foods now so they don’t block the opening. Keep up with your health and get it done again so you won’t choke. Love your videos ❤️.

  30. OMG makes me think my friend has the same thing! Hes sooooo afraid to swallow 1 vitamin! He choked on a string bean as a kid.

  31. Babe i know this is a old video, but damn queen like wth. Glad you habe some help now to eat and so forth. Hope today in 2019 u dont have any problems.

  32. First of all – so sorry you have this condition. It must be frightening at times. My mother needed to have her esophagus enlarged due to narrowing caused by scarring from having acid reflux. She had to have this procedure done a couple of times. What they did was enlarge the esophagus by introducing tubes of graduating sizes. It was frightening. The last time she had it done, she had gotten to the point where she was choking on mashed potato – that's how bad it was! I take medication now for acid reflux. I hope I never have to have the procedure done. I have had a scope put down my esophagus for a different issue and when the scope touched my "palatine uvula" (that thing that hangs down the back of your throat), it caused me to sneeze or should I say "panic sneeze" as it's scary to sneeze when you have a foreign object down your throat. (Thought I'd mention the sneezing since you also sneezed during your procedure). So, for anyone reading this, if you have acid reflux – see a Dr. as this can cause damage to your esophagus.
    — And Jeffree, sorry you had to go through that ordeal. Thank you for sharing it. Stay well.

  33. Omg thank u sooo much i have had this same problem i had to make myself vomited n i have had to have the food removed noone told me know what it was
