There was blood, a lot of blood. Well, what do we do? Like, go to the hospital and be like, my nose won’t stop bleeding? ♬ Don’t you think we’re better together ♬ ♬ Oh Honey ♬ ♬ I think we are ♬ Good morning guys. It’s Saturday morning, and it’s a little bit of a crazy morning. I was up just working this morning and then Mary woke up. She went to the bathroom and I hear her kind of yell out from the bathroom that her nose was bleeding. So, I go into the bathroom and she’s just got… We aren’t going to show any footage of this. We didn’t take any footage of it, because I know that that is kind of gruesome, but there was blood, a lot of blood and her nose had like started bleeding when she started coughing and… She…it’s been like an hour and it slowed, it’ll slow down and then she starts coughing and it’ll start bleeding a lot more. So she took, she has a medication on hand for when she gets… um… bleeding like this, like excessive… to kind of, it’s like a clotting agent to help… with stop the bleeding, so it’s slowed down. She’s in the bath right now and she’s just like, it’s still kind of like dripping down her throat. We really don’t want it to get into her lungs because blood in the lungs just is a great place for infection to grow. Anyway, so we had this Dunkin iced coffee sitting upstairs and it’s been there a while, but these things are like, you don’t have to refrigerate them. And it says it’s good till April and she really wanted something to, uh… kind of get that blood taste. She was saying it feels just like when she had her sinus surgery and it was just bleeding and it’s just that blood taste in the back of her mouth. So she wanted to drink this. She opens it up. It’s got like these… like, I think it’s gone bad. It’s got like chunks in it. Kind of gross. So I’m gonna make her a real cup of coffee. Take it up to her. I just wanted to tell you guys what’s going on. We’re gonna try to keep her body.. just kind of still. I mean, I hear coughing right now, so that’s not great. But that’s just part of it. So we’re just gonna keep an eye on the bleeding, try to get it to stop, and then I think she’ll probably just not do airway clearance or anything till later in the day to make sure that the bleeding is stopped. But let’s get her some coffee so that she can get that taste out of her mouth and we’ll keep you guys updated. Welcome to our day. It’s kind of a… well, it was going to be a low-key Saturday of catching up on life after we had a funeral yesterday, and I’ve got church tomorrow. And so I’m still working on my sermon for tomorrow and… but… Always something, you know? And I was kind of just sitting on the bathroom floor with Mary and we’re just kind of cleaning up and trying to keep her head up and all that and I was kind of reminded that this life, you know, like you never know what life is gonna have. Like, when your nose is gonna start bleeding and when you just need to sit on the bathroom floor with your wife and be there with her and I think… I don’t know. Sometimes you need that perspective that it’s life and let’s embrace that today and be together in it. Okay, I gotta make her coffee. Bye. Well, good morning guys. I hear Peter updated you on our crazy morning. I literally chose a red shirt today because I was like, that way if it starts dripping again it won’t stain a shirt as bad. I have no idea. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bloody nose like that. Not that lasted that long. You know, it’s been like, oh man, gushing blood but like just for like one tissue, not like for an hour long. But oh well. Look at me. I’m not holding a tissue and you don’t see blood! Uh…yep! [coughing] But… It’s interesting because when you have a lung bleed you don’t do airway clearance for 24 hours at least. But nose bleed is different. You can still do airway clearance. But the thing was I just did my vest and when my settings bumped up, my settings change throughout my treatment and when it went to a higher frequency I felt my nose… What did I feel? I think… Did it start dripping or did it…I don’t know. I felt something weird in my nose. I was like, oh no, it’s gonna start bleeding again. So I paused it. So I think I’ll probably… um… do my vest at a lower setting again in a little while. Give my nose some time to rest and then… I just have like…yeah, anyway. All of the things that come with a bloody nose. But um, when I opened that coffee… did you tell them what it looked like? Ugh! I was really glad I looked down before I drank it. We even checked the expiration date before but whatever. Anyway… [Mary] Um, Peter just finished the vlog and uh… Yeah, I… [Peter] We’re glad she’s not bleeding currently. [Mary] Okay, I legitimately was like thinking… what, wait, what if this doesn’t…stop? But then I was like, well, what do we do? Like, go to the hospital and be like my nose won’t stop bleeding? I don’t know. I don’t know. I mean, I guess I was just concerned that it would go into her lungs. [Mary] Yeah. But… [Peter] Anyways, thankfully…seems to be under control. We’re just gonna take it easy. Yeah. Mmm. In the back part of my sinuses I can feel it, like… [Peter] Gross. Globbing. Sorry. Uh…yeah, so update on the shepherd’s pie I made last night. Peter likes the fact that I use the sliced cheese even better. [Peter] Yeah. It was so good guys. I, we just had it for lunch and… delicious. Way to go Mary. So. [Peter] And you did like a full, like pretty much like a tutorial. As I edited the vlog I was like… [Peter] it’s like, cooking with Mary. Nice! Did you do the part where like I opened the fridge and everything? [Peter] Yeah. I was getting, I was getting real artsy. Not. I feel like I’m living the life of one of the most ridiculous Amazon review. You know how Amazon reviews can be really hysterical? Well, so I bought this little fan for my upcoming flight and it came with this little string to put on. But I’m having trouble getting it through the hole. So I tried pushing it through. I tried using a twisty tie. I tried… like twisting it and now I’m using a plicker plaquer, and… trying to like fish it out. So I’m like imagining if I wrote a review and was like… I put four out of five stars. I would have put five stars except that I had to spend one hour and 15 minutes using a plickr plaquer to try to fish the tail out of the little tiny plastic hole. You know, like, I could keep going but you know what I mean. I just feel like I’m… living out… because sometimes you’re reading those and you’re like wait, somebody actually spent an hour and 15 minutes like working on the fan string? Note. I have not actually been working on this for an hour and 15 minutes, but I reckon that I could… because it is really not working. So I think it’s just making itself clear that I’m not gonna use the string. So that’s okay. Um… That’s okay. Have you ever, ooh! We should do like funny Amazon reviews. Like… Should you guys write funny Amazon reviews in our comments? Like, write your own Amazon review? [Peter chuckles] How about we write our own Amazon reviews for this squeezie cheese? Yes, I bought the squeezie cheese because I found the off-brand squeezie cheese, which was cheaper than the on-brand squeezie cheese. Um, I was feeling particularly nostalgic about the 90s the other day and so I did it. I bought the squeezie cheese, and I don’t regret it. But I’m ready to read your hysterical Amazon reviews of your experience… your pretend experience with the squeezie cheese. A don’t forget that you have to squirt the very end out because it gets dried out, so you can include that in your review. Okay, ready set go. Also, there’s this thing. I watch youtubers and real youtubers do this thing in every video. And we never do it. So I feel like we’re supposed to do this. If you haven’t yet, hit the subscribe button and if you liked… Now I’m trying to remember. If you liked this video please give it a thumbs up. [Peter laughing] Um, and hit that subscribe button. Uh… Leave us a friendly comment, and… And as always… [both] We will see you tomorrow! We do always say that! [both] Good night. Ollie! Ollie? We’re on an Ollie hunt. I bet I know where he is. [Mary] Good night Bonesy!

  1. Squeezy cheese delicious for those who haven't got sinus problems. Donot buy as you waste so much cheese everytime because it dries up When you leave it sitting for a while.. I'm so glad Mary's nose stopped bleeding. โ™ฅ๏ธโ™ฅ๏ธโ™ฅ๏ธ

  2. My review…….So I give the squeezy cheese 4 stars instead of 5 because I spent an hour and 15 minutes using a plauqer trying to get the hardened cheese out of the end of the tip. Other than that the cheese was good.

  3. My husband had something like that. His nose started bleeding and then blood was coming out his mouth. It was so bad he used 2 bath towels full of blood so scary

  4. You know koolaide is really good for that, you just put the dry powder under your upper lip, no joke, we kept it on hand at the daycare where I worked years ago!

  5. My best friend is notorious for crazy excessive bloody noses. For the first time this year she went to have it cauterized. Before she made that appointment she had a bloody nose that lasted for 2 hours and could just lean over her sink. She ended up going to ER. She felt silly going in for a nose bleed but after she explained to the nurse she said oh no come in and just as she got checked in it stopped.

  6. So glad your nose stopped bleeding! In other news, I am so proud of myself because I figured out how to upload a video to my channel with my video editing software! ๐Ÿ™‚ It's the little things that count. It's the little things ๐Ÿ™‚ Love you guys!

  7. I get bloody noses all the time! When it's really dry I'll put a very thin coat of Vaseline on the inside of my nose with a Q-Tip before doing anything that will dry my skin out more/stretch my already fragile skin causing it to crack. Not sure if this would be an option for you, but i thought I'd share!

  8. I dealt with severe nosebleeds that wouldn't stop for my whole life and I went to the ER for it and they ended up cauterizing the inside of my nose and I haven't had one since

  9. Oh. Peter, honey, that expiration date is for before it's opened only. I love hearing your two bird clocks, by the way. LOVE to you all!!

  10. Yes, Mary, that's what my friends do, actually. Go to the hospital and say my nose won't stop bleeding. I hope you don't get another chance to, though!

  11. "The squeezy cheese arrived intact and on time. I have not yet been able to try it because I still can't open it." #AMAZONREVIEWSFREYLIFE

  12. Iโ€™ve had to go to the hospital once with a bleeding nose (because Iโ€™m on life long blood thinners)-they had to โ€œpackโ€ my nose! Very uncomfortable, but it worked!! Glad your nose stopped bleeding!!!

  13. Yes you could go to the hospital if your having unusual nose bleed. I've had to do that a couple of times. Come to find out there is very fine blood vessels that blow out. It can be a big deal. Dr told me I really should have surgery. But he cot Caterrize the spot to spot bleeding

  14. LOL I actually find it mildly annoying when people constantly say all that "If you liked this video please give it a thumb up" etc.

  15. Emergency rooms do have ways to stop a nosebleeds that are sustained. One of the things is to pack the nose with gauze to apply pressure. They can cauterize the bleeding area(s). I'm glad it stopped so you avoided either of those treatments. I've had the latter—yuck! signed,
    fan & nurse
    Annette Billings

  16. I work in a hospital in the ER. The best thing for nose bleeds. A tampon ! Yes people use them all the time instead of going through tissues. Of course if it does not stop go to the ER

  17. Squeezy Cheese Review:

I would give this canister of sharp cheddar Squeezy Cheese 4.5 out of 5 stars. The nozzle mechanism has a wonderful finger feel and the canister fits well in my hand but I am lactose intolerant so I'm taking away a half star.

The reason why I buy this item is because I enjoy the smell of the sharp cheddar Squeezy Cheese and my outdoor ants enjoy the flavor. I like to spell out words with the cheese on my neighbor's driveway and watch the ants eat off letters. It's really enjoyable! I did not receive a free canister or discount for this review!

  18. Try using a folded piece of gauze between your gums and top lip and push it up with your tongue for a few minutes, like if you were feeling your front teeth, that always slowed my crazy nosebleeds.

  19. Don't forget to hit that notification bell if you want youtube to randomly send you notifications of when the Freylife uploads๐Ÿ””!

  20. Squeezy cheese 1 out of 5 stars

RIDICULOUS! Bought this product thought it would be like whip cream! BUT DONT BE FOOLED!!! Itโ€™s thick and globular!! AND!! When we first opened it there was some DRIED cheese stuck to the top that was all crusty HOW GROSS!! Surprisingly, cheese taste okay, which is only why it got 1 out of 5 stars, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS PRODUCT!

  21. For the string, loop some dental floss (or other stiffer string) folded in half through the channel for the strap. Then unfold one part and put the floss through the fan strap string. Put both ends through the channel and pull fan strap through… hope that makes sense๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ

  22. Take the paper off a twisty tie so that you have a thin wire. Feed it through the hole and create an eye at the end that's holding the end of the strap string. Pull through hole and undo twisty tie wire and finish securing strap. Love your vids.

  23. Try threading a needle then feeding it through the little hole if you can with the string attached to the end . Hopefully you know what Iโ€™m talking about lol . Or am I crazy lmao ๐Ÿคฃ

  24. Squeezy cheezers pick squeazy cheese squeezie cheeses
Its the squeasy cheese that squeasy cheesers eat.
( said to the tune of picky people pick peter pan peanut butter its the peanut butter picky people pick)

  25. As someone with a bleeding disorder who deals with nosebleeds literally all the time, NEVER tilt your head back with a nosebleed. The blood will travel down your throat to your stomach, it will make you nauseous, and youโ€™ll end up vomiting later. Also, if you have a gushing nosebleed that lasts longer that an hour, yes, go to the ER! Theyโ€™ll most likely pack your nose or cauterize it.

Also, I feel you on wearing a red shirt so the blood stains will blend in, Mary ๐Ÿ˜‚ I canโ€™t count how many clothes Iโ€™ve ruined with blood stains from bleeds!

  26. Yes that is exactly what you do. You go to the hospital and tell them your nose won't stop bleeding.
In my family alone, my father and my son-in-law have had to go to the emergency room for that very reason. My father actually had to go to hospital by ambulance because he felt the silly about going to emerg. So he waited until he lost so much blood he was too week to walk to the car.
Bleeding is bleeding, regardless of where it is coming from.

  27. I have had a nose bleed to that extent. I went to the ER and was given a steroid injected in my nose to stop the bleeding. It took a while to work, but it eventually did.

  28. A few years ago, my husband had complications from a sinus surgery. Nasty bloody nose.
Four ER trips within 3 days, ending up with emergency surgery. Of course, the ER trips were after midnight. One was at 2am in the rain. A coyote came out of nowhere and bounced off our car (and ran off).
Both our bathrooms looked like murder scenes.
Baking soda and bleach were my friend when trying to clean up the mess.
Don't be afraid to go to the ER if you get dizzy from a bloody nose. At one point my husband had lost so much blood that his blood pressure tanked. He was anemic and had to be on an IV for a few hours.

  29. โ€œLife is what happens when Weโ€™re making OTHER PLANS.โ€ I am SURE YOU WERE NOT making BLEEDING PLANS! God is WITH YOU!!! ๐Ÿ’œ

  30. 1/5 ๐ŸŒŸ took me 3 hours to get the cheese out . then when i went back to get more it was crusty on the end i even put the top back on i mean come on .. XD

  31. Funny you mentioned squeezy cheese. We ate at McDonalds after โ›ช church tonight. We tried their new bacon & cheese fries. My son said it tasted like the squeezy cheese. I didn't like it, but he did.

  32. For other reasons, I used to have severe nose bleeds. Ice, ice, ice was the only way I could get my nose bleeds to stop. Then, as a nurse working with cancer patients who can extremely low platelets and who get nose bleeds, I can tell you that ice and pressure are the way to go. Pinch the bridge of the nose and hold ice. DO NOT relieve the pressure for at least FIVE MINUTES (5 mins is a really long time when you're watching the clock). Don't keep taking your hand away to check if it's still bleeding. If bleeding continues, yes, go to the ER. It sounds drastic, but they can "shoot" what's like a nasal tampon into to nostril that is bleeding. Nose bleeds aren't just annoying, they can turn into big trouble sometimes.

  33. About 15 years ago I had a terrible bloody nose ๐Ÿ‘ƒ out of nowhere. It was so bad that the blood started coming out of my eyes ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ & tear ducts. I looked in the mirror and saw a lot of blood running down my face! It was like a horror movie. So much blood! I had to go to ER by ambulance ๐Ÿš‘ and get it cauterized. Such a terrible and terrifying experience. I'm sorry u had to go through that. Sending hugs, love & positive vibes!๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป ๐Ÿ’•๐ŸคŸ

  34. Mary that is exactly what you tell the ER. For future reference tampons up the nose helps to stop and soak up the blood. And you forgot hit the notification button, lol.

  35. I worked in ER for years. Youโ€™d be surprised how common it is (especially in elderly or people on blood thinners) for people to come to the ER with a nosebleed that wonโ€™t stop !!

  36. Um go to the ER I hate to scare you but that could be something so serious I had that happen and that was when I had a part of my lung removed from a clot in my lung.

  37. Keep a box of the small tampons on hand. During the bleed insert a tampon as far as is comfortable into the bleeding nostril. You may need one on each side. If you bleed enough to change the tampon go to the ER. Once bleeding has stopped, use. Qtip to coat both nostrils with Vaseline. I am an RN, with a brother who suffered from frequent nosebleeds as a child. He eventually had to have his adenoids removed to stop this problem for him.

  38. And after hitting the subscribe hit the bell and you will be notified when a new video is posted. Hitting the bell ensures you wonโ€™t miss a single episode. With that, WE WILL SEE YOU TOMORROW. GOOD NIGHT EVERYBODY. SAY GOOD NIGHT BONESY!

  39. The best Amazon review I have ever read was for the 5 lb bag of sugar free gummy bears. The details on what it does to your body is great!!! Enjoy the read

  40. Hospital and letting them know great idea, not the first time I have seen someone treated urgently for bloody nose. It can be serious. I would let the team know next visit.

  41. Oh no would you like some Tabasco and celery with that bloody Mary? I've seen tampons be used by ERs for nose packing – have you had anything like that poadt surgery?

  42. Mary if you really want to strap on your fan get a paperclip send it to the little hole on the fan make a hook around the strap and pull it through. Sorry you're not feeling good. have a wonderful vacation.

  43. Thank you for not showing all the blood as another well known Australian CI vlogger did for views and shock value!! We all know what blood looks like, so no need to film it. Hope you're feeling better Mary!!

  44. no review, but true story…I actually was far too curious about how the squeezy cheese came out of the tube, that I very carefully watched down the tube as the cheese came out. to my dismay, there was an air bubble behind that first bit of cheese, and it splatted out right in my eye. It had to have been pretty comical, as my family laughed so hard, and continues to laugh about years later. I am glad to see my plite is so amusing.

  45. The problem with nosebleeds is that question of where is the underlying cause. Since you have medication to help with clotting, as that can be one issue and that usually works well if its just a few capillaries that have popped and your clotting factors are low, However if you happen to pop an artery clotting factor will have la slower or no response as an artery usually needs pressure to seal back up. This probably will sound gross but its the best way to know what you are dealing with. Of course often we tend to blot up blood but if its obviously becoming on that does not seem to stop catching the blood for measurement purposes is important. Its also a difficult decision as to whether you do want to try to hold pressure at the bridge of the nose to help a bleed clot but that only works if its capillaries in that area are bleeding and not an area near where you have had prior surgery. One reason to consider the ER if its not stopping within an hour is that you do need to be monitored for blood loss as well as the fact that the ER has the proper equipment to be able to expand a balloon right on top of the bleeder and not only put pressure on the area to stop the bleeding but doing it that wat means a great deal less risk if blood draining into the lungs even hours after the noticeable bleeding has stopped and there actually maybe the need to talk about prophylactic antibiotics as old blood slowly seeping into the lungs can really set up a site for infection. I know many people often do not go when they should as they think they may appear silly for going to an ER for a nose bleed that might be true if the person is otherwise normally healthy with no chronic medical problems and won't be at risk for the loss of too much blood or that the blood would set them up for an infection. We end up seeing nose bleed patients with chronic issues in most cases anyway although its usually post bleed and they are there with an infection in the lungs and or sinuses and a low blood count very often requiring a transfusion and as you know a transfusion itself, even if the necessary treatment for a blood count that has dropped, can be a risk itself depending on the chronic issue. So never be afraid that anyone will question why you are in the ER with a nosebleed or thing badly of you for going in with one. Perhaps the receptionist may not get it but once your there and with the medical personnel they will understand and most likely be glad you did come in. We find ourselves very often in the position of telling a prety sick person that we are admitting that we really wished they had come in during the time they were bleeding

  46. A visit to urgent care might have been able to take care of it, or yes the ER as they cauterize the culprit (I had this done, best thing I ever did, had no idea you can have a vessel that is more prone to bleed, especially in winter with low humidity) anyway, it was really no big deal and no more nose bleeds, and they can check your CBC while you are there just as a precaution.

  47. The best amazon review i read was about kleenex. I saw it on buzzfeeds funniest amazon review list. If you have time google it. Its hilarious.

  48. Without wanting to cause too much concern, worst bloody nose ever could be reason to have blood counts checked. So check with your team for their instructions if serve nose bleed happens again. ๐Ÿ’–

  49. Do you ever watch medical shows and scrutinize them? I watched The Resident last night and they had a girl with CF on it, and it had me wondering how much was accurate. My daughter has type 1 diabetes and time they use it in TV shows, I just have to laugh when they say stuff that is completely far fetched ๐Ÿ˜‚

  50. U always take care of your mary, peter u are so protective of her thats how loving u guys are.u guys know each others words before spoken, that's love.hey ollie, take care mary.peter on top of it.u have no worries their, he's got u girl.

  51. You guys are so awesome and inspirational โค love you guys and stay strong ๐Ÿ‘Š god bless ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

  52. OMG I just had a bleedy nose last night it terrifies me every time it happens.

I always run to the sink and blast the cold water and throw it on my face and hold my nose. Sometimes it takes a while. Happened to me in public once so I got stuck in the public bathroom for an hour or two.

Will pray for you both. ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’–

  53. My son has chronic Nose bleeds and they are like a massacre in the bathroom and his Ent dr and the ER nurse said to use Afrin nasal spray and donโ€™t tilt your head back. And also pinch the nose at the bridge for 5 minutes. Just thought I would share our tricks for nose bleeds. ๐Ÿ’š

  54. I had a nosebleed that wouldnโ€™t stop once. Went to the ER, very busy weekend day. A nurse came over to me, in the line and placed a plastic clothespin looking thing on the bridge of my nose and handed me a clean towel. Not real comfortable, but I was so happy it was finished gushing out. They cauterized the blood vessel.

  55. oh no!!! I can sort of relate: I was supposed to get mouth sores (potentially) from chemotherapy and instead I got NOSE sores…. so also bleeding nose for a couple of weeks. I still prefer it over mouth sores though ๐Ÿ™‚

  56. Use heavy thread or floss to get the fan cord threaded! Place a piece of thread through the loop on the cord, then double the ends of the thread, put those through the plastic loop on the fan, and use them to tug the cord through the loop. Hope that works!
