Hi. Today were going to talk about 14 foods
that cleanse the liver. When the liver is taxed it can’t process toxins and fat in an
efficient way. There are many foods that can help cleanse the liver naturally, by stimulating
the natural ability to clean toxic waste from the body. Eating the following foods is the
best way to keep your liver healthy and functioning the way you need it to. Number 1, garlic.
Just a small amount has the ability to activate liver enzymes, which help your body flush
out toxins. Garlic also holds high amounts of allicin and selenium, two natural compounds
that aid in liver cleansing. Number 2, grapefruit. It’s high in Vitamin C and antioxidants, and
has the natural cleansing ability to support the liver. Grapefruit juice helps boost the
production of liver detoxification enzymes, and helps flush out carcinogens and other
toxins. Number 3, beats and carrots. Both extremely high in plant flavonoids and beta-carotene.
This helps stimulate and improve overall liver function. Number 4, green tea. This liver
loving beverage is full of plant antioxidants and catechins, a constituent known to assist
the livers overall function. Number 5, leafy green vegetables. One of the most powerful
allies in cleansing the liver that can be eaten raw, cooked, or juiced. High in plant
chlorophylls, greens literally suck up environmental toxins from the blood stream and the body.

  1. Eat garlic, grapefruit, beets (high in sugar), green tea every day. Kale, spinach, eggs every day. Cinnamon, tumeric, avocados every day. No msg or carbs. Eat one apple a day cut up into small pieces eaten at 3pm, breakfast. Olive oil teaspoon before dinner. Avoid all grains. Eat small qty of brocoli, onions. Lemons and lemon juice every day. Been doing this for over 3 years now. Walnuts, cashews throughout the day. Am I healthy? What else can I do? Coconut oil, butter bkst with eggs and spinach and kale. What else can I do?

  2. Grapefruit and grapefruit juice interact with a LOT of medicines people take today. Check with your Doctor. Eating healthy foods is great as long as you can eat organic, and avoid. GMO foods. I think GMO is our problem with toxic liver!!!

  3. glad someone is finally promoting garlic, lemons, walnuts, grapefruits, and small amt of pure olive oil. things my 98 year old grandfather ate all his life lol…and idiots here claiming garlic and onions are bad for health – many vegans say that, I think its foolish. Esp. ones that do or at some time in their vegan life drank their own urine ugghh…urine is a product of your body ELIMINATING waste materials, you are not suppose to drink it. Another good food for liver and overall health are ginger and hot peppers, if you can tolerate it. My grandfather ate hot peppers a lot, for me its really hard but they are good for the liver and for joint inflammations. My grandfather grew dark purple grapes and made his own homemade wine, probably not great for you but with all the other good stuff he ate every day, it doesn't seem to have hurt him, probably compensated. He's a natural food eater without calling it that – he just calls it "food" and never ate a processed anything ever, except occasional home made sweets/desserts but that is on rare occasions. Other things he ate a lot of (all fresh, not dried): parsley, mint, sage, apple bananas, figs (tons of figs), apricots, dark purple plums, peaches, pomegranites, cactus fruits, grapes – tons of grapes and figs, his favorite fruits. He ate rice all his life probably 3 or 4 days a week, chick peas, fava beans, raw olive oil and pickled olives, turnips, okra, cauliflower. he also ate non-vegan foods too like chicken, lamb couple days a week, and home made goat's milk yogurt. I think he had one of the best diets all his life but didn't realize it, processed food to him was the same as eating plastic, never happened.

  6. wow I do not no what to think of this video at first I was thinking he is smart and nos the stuff as the things he was saying I have ben told are great for the liver and have research to back it but then. he sed olive oil and most drs and evidence shows its bad the only oil that is good is avocado oil and coconut and even coconut is questioned. I even did some research on olive oil and it turns out the first person the guy qho started the mith of it being healthy was a italien guy how owned a olive farm and made his own oil.

  7. This video is pure Snake Oil.  I don't know what type of "Dr" this fellow claims to be but he's certainly not a physician/MD.  No legit physician would make the claims made here.  Cleanse the liver.  Google it.  It's snake oil.

  8. Im glad you didn't write down these foods on the board behind you cause we might actually remember them by seeing them so much. Instead we can remember your claim of knowledge, '14 foods that cleanse the liver'' and wonder what the hell you were talking about. By the way, how do you know any of this? You don't look old enough to have had any personal problems or successes. You must be well educated.

  9. I've been cleaning my liver with six cans of strong lager and a bottle of scotch every day for the past 20 years and the doctor said I'm as fit as a 40 year old marathon runner so fuck you . I also eat lots of plastic and stones to clean my large intestine.

  12. How good is leafy vegetables when the leafy vegetables are already full of toxin from the chemical spray that the grower used? This is just like putting toxin to your liver when you eat those vegetables.

  15. I wish you would clarify whether or not these foods would be better cooked or raw. Cruciferous veggies, carrots, and quite a few others can be eaten either way, and which would give the best benefit? TY

  16. Eat healthy, you don’t need a magic potion. Just don’t eat fast food, processed food or anything you buy at Walmart, Sam’s Club or Costco… American’s eat garbage.

Hi @Global Healing Centre, your Liver Cleanse instruction says to choose ONE of the following fruits to eat or juice – watermelon (recommended), papaya, kiwi, plums, pears, apples, cherries, figs, grapefruit – for the five days. May I know if I have to eat only one type of fruit the five days or can i choose one fruit on day 1, one fruit on day 2, one fruit on day 3 etc? Hope you can clarify the instruction. Thanks.
